Jonathan and Kara Asbun
Jonathan and Kara Asbun and their two little boys serve in Cochabamba, Bolivia. They are the founders and directors of Genesis Cochabamba. Genesis Cochabamba is a ministry that consists of a church, Iglesia Genesis Cochabamba, where Jonathan serves as the lead pastor, and Kara oversees missions and outreach as well as the children’s ministry. In addition to the church, Genesis Cochabamba also partners with local orphanages, a ministry for children at risk of prostitution in the red-light district of Cochabamba, as well as responding to disaster relief needs in the area. The focus of Genesis Cochabamba is teaching, discipleship, missions, and meeting practical needs while sharing God’s love and salvation.
