The Bruggemans have served since 2007 in Autlan, Jalisco, Mexico. They ran a conference center, did youth ministry, and worked in several existing churches. They have 5 children, 4 of which are still living at home and involved in ministry. In February of 2014, they formed a church planting team with fellow Oregonians Josh and Heather Dunn to work in the neighboring state of Zacatecas.
The Bruggemans passion is to proclaim the Gospel in this dark area where only 1% of the people are born again believers. They are focusing on evangelism and discipleship, trusting in God to call people to Himself, and desire to see these new believers form indigenous churches. The evangelism will target men, believing that if the heads of the families can be reached, the rest of the family will follow. The Bruggemans long to see the Lord begin a modern day reformation in Mexico! Please pray for them!
