Cory and Stacy Martin, along with their four children, Gavin (18), Noella (15), Sydney (13), and Amelie (11), serve in the small mountain town of Masatepe. They work in their community alongside the local church. Cory works with the young men in a vocational/discipleship program. Through woodworking and other vocational arts, he is able to create leaders in the community. Stacy is an educator who homeschools their children and teaches English classes 5 days a week. She also teaches nutrition classes in the community. Through farming, they are working to introduce new healthy foods to the area, along with sharing the abundant amounts of fruit they already produce.
