David and Charity Zimmer

In 2010 David and Charity were married, knowing that they were both called to be missionaries to Africa. As a registered nurse David had been on several mission trips. In 2011 they knew they were specifically called to Uganda and particularly to the Karamajong people. While ministering there together, they felt Yahweh’s confirmation that this is the place He prepared them for and what He prepared them to do. While giving her testimony on a makeshift platform in the center of the marketplace in the village of Kangole, Uganda, Charity called David to the stage. While standing there together they were both overcome with a real sense from Yahweh that they were in this together, for this people, and this place. This was what He was preparing them for all these years, and through all the struggles of life, for such a time as this.

David and Charity desire to disciple Ugandans using the entirety of Scripture, always with an emphasis on teaching all of Yahweh’s instructions, the feasts and the prophetic picture of our Messiah in them and the redemptive work that He accomplished for us, be it through in home Bible studies, feeding centers, medical clinics, leadership workshops or working with children.
