Serving in

Keith Britton

Keith works with children at risk and very poor families in two barrios near San Jose. Hes also the Director at a mens re-hab center, 1 hour from San Jose. He has an average of 12 addicts living at the center for 6 months, mostly learning how in Faith, God can take their addiction away…forever. He also helps run  a childrens feeding center in Los Guizaros, near San Jose. He helps feed from 30 to 80 children lunch 6 days a week and helps with Bible Studies every Saturday. Keiths mission supplies a lot of the food the children receive. For 20% of the children, this is their main meal each day. Before God sent Keith, the children were sitting on the floor. God provided funds for him to build seven sturdy 10 ft. long benches and expanded the feeding program from 3 days to 6 days a week. Keiths ministry also helps with maintenance and construction and other necessities as funds are available.

In the past 7 years, Keith has helped families in Los Guido by repairing their homes, helping with food , medicine for flu or other normal aches and pains and clothes and shoes when available. He is able to witness and fellowship with the families as he repairs the shacks, (more like your great grandfathers tool shed) that they lived in with no flooring, usually two rooms maybe two beds, no sanitary facilities, except what runs down hill, small sink with water and one light. These shacks have tin siding and roofs, ( a lot of holes). He has repaired or replaced roofs, bathrooms,  wood or cement flooring and facilitated the building of over 380 stairs up two hilly walkways for the community and a bridge which provides safe passage all year, while always witnessing and praising God to all that will listen.

Last year (2010) the Government closed this area and moved most of the people in to a new government housing project close by. Keith continues to help the families by supplying over 150 children with all their school needs every Feb approx $135.00 per child. He has no money but God provides through your help, and still helps with food and medical as needed.

Keith is praying for a full time missionary to live and help at the rehab center.

“Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven … and whoever receives one such child in My name receives me.”
