Naomi Demmon will be partnering with Hope Church Romania and Hope for the Community Association as Director of the social house located in Draganesti-Olt, Romania. Naomi is passionate about showing the love and hope of Christ to orphans and young mothers by providing a physically, emotionally and spiritually safe place for them which is what the social house was designed for.
Naomi first fell in love with the people of Draganesti-Olt in February 2015 while she was there with the World Race, a mission to 11 countries in 11 months to work with local missionaries around the world. After finishing that journey, she returned for another short term trip to Romania in September 2015. It was then that God gave her an overwhelming peace about becoming a long term missionary.
The social house is a new development for Hope Church and Naomi is excited to be a part of it. Her role will include administration of the house, spiritual and emotional counseling and mentoring for those who live there and assisting with other local social programs to spread the gospel in Romania.
