Katie and Tibe Mucheke
Tiberias (Tibe) and Katie met in Kenya in 2022. Katie was teaching at a missionary boarding school, Rift Valley Academy (RVA), in Kijabe and Tibe was doing soccer ministry in Nairobi with Ambassadors Football, an organization that communicates the good news of Jesus through local soccer (football) outreach. After "tying the knot" in October 2024 in the States, Tibe and Katie will return to Kenya in 2025 to continue serving God together in Kenya. They both will serve at RVA, through teaching, discipling and coaching missionary kids. Their desire is also to serve the local young people through Gospel-centered soccer ministry and outreach in the surrounding Kijabe community.
Tibe has a passion for leadership development, spreading the gospel and using soccer as a ministry tool. He seeks to see a movement of empowered youth and communities transforming lives through the Gospel in Kenya. Katie has a heart for educating and mentoring kids and seeing them come to Christ. Together, Tibe and Katie share a love for spreading the Gospel in Kenya, whether that be through mentoring kids in the classroom or sharing the Gospel on the soccer field.
