You can do a variety of things, and the list of possibilities will continue to grow.

  • Make donations to missionaries, staff or to the general CTEN ministry by credit card or EFT (bank draft) through a secure interface.

  • Change the pledge amount by clicking on the Amount link within the pledge details.
  • Print a previous receipt.
  • See a history of your previous donations.
  • See a list of your recurring gifts and stop them if needed

What happens when I register? +

When you register, your information is added to our database. If the information is similar to a record already in the database (including everyone who has subscribed to a missionary prayer letter or donated in the past), one of our office staff will compare it, and if it really is a match, your information will be consolidated so that you will have access to both present and past information about your donations, etc.

As an unregistered guest, you can still make a contribution and set up recurring contributions, but you will not be able to access your giving history nor make changes to your recurring contributions.

Make sure you add the email address finance@cten.org and the domain of @cten.org to your safe senders list so that any e-correspondence is delivered to your Inbox.

How do I make a contribution online? +

From the CTEN Online Community page, click on the Missionary Support link. Use the search tool to find the missionary you would like to support and click on their name. On their giving page, you have two options.

  1. One-time donation
  2. Recurring donation: (On-Going Donation) Select the type of contribution you would like to make and complete the steps that follow.

You may also search for a missionary from CTEN’s main website www.cten.org/missionaries. Enter the missionary’s name or alias in the ‘Find a Missionaries’ box and press enter. When the missionary’s name appears, click on their name to read a description of their ministry. Make a donation by clicking the DONATE button next to the missionary’s picture. You will be directed to the missionary’s online giving page where you can make a one-time contribution or set up a recurring contribution as described above.

How do I know my information is secure? +

I want to donate by EFT, but what are my Routing/Transit Number and Account Number? +

CTEN and Denari Online maintain compliance with all Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). The Online Community uses SSL encryption for all pages. Banking information and credit card numbers are masked in compliance with PCI.

I live outside the U.S. Can I still donate? +

YES! If you live in Canada and would like to support a missionary that is with CTEN-USA, you can make a contribution through CTEN Canada. Please visit www.cten.org/canada-giving for contact information on giving to the CTEN Canada office. Contributions to CTEN Canada are tax deductible as allowed by the Canada Revenue Agency.

For donating in other currencies, you may do so through the CTEN Online Community by credit card only (not EFT). Please be advised that the contribution amount you enter is in U.S. dollars, and your receipt will be in U.S. dollars. The deductibility of your contribution for tax purposes is determined by the taxing authority for your country.

Do my gifts go toward the missionary I select? +

In accordance with IRS regulations on tax deductible contributions, CTEN retains full discretion and control over all gifts given to CTEN. However, we have direction from our Board of Directors instructing us to use your preference for a particular missionary in determining how the funds are to be used. On occasion, a suggested missionary may no longer be part of CTEN because they came off the field. In such cases we will make every effort to communicate with you concerning the change in the missionary’s status so that you may know how your contribution was used.

What if I have a question that is not answered here? +
