Sobering Statistics:
• Over 7,000 people groups remain “unreached” having no indigenous, self reproducing
church. *
• This represents nearly 42% of the world’s population (3.23 billion people). *
• Less than 4% of the world’s missionary workforce labors among these unreached
people groups. **
• Less than 2% of all mission giving goes to work among the unreached. **
• On average, there is less than 1 foreign missionary for every 405,500 Muslims. **

Not long after their marriage in 1996, the Lord opened the hearts and minds of R and T D to these sobering realities. It changed them forever. After a much prayer and soul-searching, they dedicated their lives to seeing the light of the Gospel penetrate that darkness… to seeing the Kingdom come to the world’s unreached.
After receiving training and working with Muslim refugees in the US for a year, they, with 2 young children, moved to Africa. For over two decades, the Lord has displayed His faithfulness in countless ways: He’s given them 4 more children (6 total); He’s allowed them to live and work in very difficult environments; He’s created in-roads into “restricted” nations and He’s provided access into Muslim communities; He’s given them hundreds of Muslim friends; He’s privileged them to lead and work with other dedicated servants; He’s provided for and protected them through many challenging circumstances and He’s blessed them immensely by allowing them so see some Muslims fall in love with Jesus and the Gospel! RD and TD are forever grateful for God’s ongoing faithfulness and ever expectant of His ongoing work.
Pray for them, their work and for the Gospel to “spread rapidly and glorified” (2 Thess. 3:1) as they continue shining for Him in North Africa.
