Chris and Heather Meatyard
The Meatyard family, Chris, Heather, Cody, Kameron, Kennsey, Kirstyn, Gabriel, Myles, and Grandma Debbie, are missionaries serving in Siguatepeque, Honduras. God has led their family to two exciting ministries. They have been on the field since 2019.
Chris provides water wells for communities and schools in Honduras. There are so many communities and schools that do not have water at all. God has pressed on their hearts that he wants Chris to use his talents in the field of well drilling to provide the basic necessity of water to Hondurans. Everyone deserves clean drinking water!
Heather and Kirstyn have teamed up with a few other local missionary women to provide women’s doula services. A doula is a woman who provides education, emotional and physical support to another woman prenatally, laboring, and postnatal. Women in Honduras are expected to labor alone without any support person. So they will come alongside these women to provide support and share the love of Christ.
Chris and Heather were married in 2003. They have two biological and five adopted children. Their family felt called to missions in 2009, but they had to wait on the Lord’s timing. The Meatyard’s have a passion for serving, and God is using them greatly in Honduras.
