Denis & Eileen Nogue, founders of Seeds to Harvest Ministries, first served with a Christian school ministry (2012-16) in the highlands of Guatemala, hosting teams that came from North America. During those years they came to love the people of Guatemala and saw the great need in the areas of malnutrition, as well as the spiritual need as there are many who have a mixing of different beliefs causing confusion, and little to no access to clear biblical teaching.

They have also worked very closely with a Canadian organization called North Okanagan Valley Gleaners, www.novgleaners.org, a Christian non profit society, which processes a nutritious dehydrated soup mix with locally grown vegetables. This organization also takes in used medical equipment from local area hospitals that would otherwise be discarded as well as close to expired seeds.

The Nogue’s, having this connection with the Gleaners, now have a primary focus to share the love of Jesus by feeding the poor and proclaiming the gospel through the power of media with portable projection equipment by showing films such as The Hope “The story of God’s Promise for all People” www.thehopeproject.com, and the Jesus film for children in many of the indigenous languages in remote villages.

In 2021 Seeds to Harvest Ministries began providing rural pastors with training thanks to Global Action (globalaction.com) who provide the materials. Many rural pastors have not had the opportunity for proper training due to lack of opportunity and finances. They are extremely grateful for the opportunity. The first class graduated May 2022!!
