As missionaries who have devoted their lives to fulfilling the Great Commission in the Amazon regions of Brazil, Colombia, and Peru, their story is one of unwavering commitment and profound impact.
Tania, hailing from the Tikuna tribe, holds a deep passion for reaching out to her tribe and other unreached communities in the Amazon. Her intimate understanding of the local culture and needs makes her efforts particularly effective and heartfelt.
Joshua, initially dedicating a year to frontline mission endeavors, found his calling in this work, extending his commitment to over a decade. His driving force is a vision where all nations and tribes are represented and celebrated in heaven.
In 2017, the Turner family transitioned to Canada, but their mission continues with undiminished fervor. They now play a pivotal role in fundraising and advocating for the ongoing mission work. A significant part of their efforts includes sending monthly support to two native missionaries: Clauber, who runs a mission school, and Ignacio, dedicated to church planting in unreached areas. Their support is crucial in sustaining these vital and effective outreach programs.
Their mission extends beyond support; they regularly embark on high-impact, short-term mission trips to the Amazon. These trips are essential for encouraging local communities, teaching, and multiplying the seeds of faith sown in this isolated yet vibrant part of the world.
