Savannah and Julio Gonzalez
Julio and Savannah are currently serving in Andalgala, Catamarca in Argentina, an area strongly influenced by Catholicism and idolatry such as “el gauchito gil”. These traditions and practices make the area difficult to reach. They work with local pastors in their church, Iglesia Cristiana Evangelica de Malli Segundo. Serving in ministries such as Bible Clubs, women’s ministry, men’s ministry, and Sunday services, their role is to support the church, but the real focus is preparing the local church for the next generation, with evangelism and discipleship as the pillars of growth, and with the Word of God as the guide for a Christ-centered church and life.
Julio and Savannah met while studying in the Word of Life in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They served together in their local church in Buenos Aires for a few years before marrying in 2020. Their daughter, Sadie, was born in July of 2023.
They plan to continue serving in the local church as well as reach those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, as it is a cause near to both Julio and Savannah.
